sneep stands for “student network for ethics in economics and practice” and is situated at the crossroads of students, junior researchers, companies and socio-political stakeholders.
Economics and ethics are not a contradiction. The association seeks to encourage and demand the dialogue of ethical and sustainable economic activity and contribute to thinking beyond traditional economics. For instance, the association provides management consulting services in the field of sustainable corporate management throughout Germany, publishes documents or hosts events raising awareness for the subject of ethical business practices with presentations, panel discussions and workshops.
The association comprises 30 local groups across Germany and Switzerland, which initiate projects, workshops, film evenings and conferences on topics related to economic ethics.
The Dieter Schwarz Foundation seeks to strengthen the exchange and reflection on issues related to economic ethics and has been financially supporting sneep since 2018.
